The first of eight Regional Combines has begun this weekend in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The three day Regional Combine gets the 2018 edition of the USA Cricket Combines underway by giving the youth in North Carolina, and the surrounding area, a chance to shine on the East Coast of America.

The Raleigh Combine was officially opened on Friday 2nd March jointly by the Mayor of Apex, North Carolina, Lance Olive and the former former Mayor of Morrisville, North Carolina, Mark Stohlman.

Each of the Combines is being managed by ICC Americas USA Project Staff and coordinated with the support of local coaches, administrators and analysts in running the various testing and cricket activities. Each Combine’s assessment program will include cricket skills, matches and fitness testing.

Representatives of the USA National Selection Committee will also be attending each combine and are responsible for making all decisions on players to be put forward to the final selectional camp. Various national and local coaches will be engaged across each Combine to provide support.
