• The Road to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia sees seven Americas teams all set to compete for two qualifying spots
  • The Americas Qualifier will be played between 7 and 14 November in Antigua with Argentina, Bahamas, Belize, Bermuda, Canada, Panama and USA playing a single round-robin tournament
  • The top two placed teams will go on to play in one of two Global T20 World Cup Qualifiers in 2022 with 2 teams qualifying from each of these 8 team events

Tomorrow in Antigua, the USA Men’s National Team begin their campaign to return to an ICC T20 World Cup Global Qualifier for the first time since 2015.  A double-header of matches gets USA’s qualification campaign underway as they seek one of the two places available from the Americas leg of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Regional Qualifiers.

Willow TV and USA Cricket are pleased to announce that all of Team USA’s matches from Antigua will be broadcast live on Willow.tv (Website + App) across North America. 

Coverage of the event will be produced by CricClubs, who will use their live streaming expertise to make each match available to view live on FanCode in the Indian sub-continent and on ICC.tv in the rest of the world. In total, there will be 21 Men’s T20 Internationals live streamed during the event which will all be played at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium and Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua.

Team USA Men’s Head Coach, J Arun Kumar, said, ”We’ve almost got a full squad available to go in at full strength for these critical qualifiers. Everyone in the squad knows the role that we are looking for them to play, and they enter the event well prepared in good form. The potential in this group of players is really fantastic, and we’re ready to do well here, and also to go on to bigger and better things in the future of this format.”

The Team USA Squad is led by the new captain who was recently named for the T20I format with Monank Patel set to lead  USA for the first time as USA get their campaign at the Coolidge Cricket Ground. USA starts with a double header on day one, with the challenge of Belize beginning at 9am for USA, and then taking on Panama in the afternoon game at 1pm.
