USA Cricket have joined forces with their strategic partner, CricClubs, to bring live-streams of all 6 of Team USA’s matches from ICC World Cricket League Division 2 in Namibia.

USA Cricket are delighted to announce, in conjunction with CricClubs, it will be live-streaming all of Team USA’s matches from Windhoek, Namibia from April 20-27.

The critical ICC World Cricket League Division 2 (WCL2) tournament begins tomorrow and is one of the most important tournaments in USA Cricket’s history. WCL2 will feature six countries, with the top four finishers gaining One Day International status and progressing to ICC World Cricket Cup League 2 that commences in July 2019, which will feature a league of 36 One Day International matches for each team over 2+ years as part of the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifying structure.

All five WCL2 round-robin matches for Team USA, against Canada, Hong Kong, Namibia, Oman and Papua New Guinea, will be live-streamed from Windhoek as will the final classification play-off match, which could be the USA’s first One Day International since 2004, should the USA finish in the top four places after the group stages.

Every match will be live streamed with a multi-camera broadcast, replays of key moments, CricClubs scoring graphics and commentary which will be hosted by international cricket commentator, Andrew Leonard who will be joined by special guests across the week. Fans will be able to tune into the broadcast for free via the USA Cricket YouTube channel or the USA Cricket Match Center on the official USA Cricket website.

Team USA arrived in Namibia on Tuesday after a short preparatory and acclimatization tour of Zimbabwe.

USA Project Manager Eric Parthen is very pleased to be able to team-up with CricClubs to make the streams possible. “We have listened to the strength of the feedback from the USA cricketing community after the huge success of the live-streams from our inaugural T20 Internationals last month with over 650,000 unique viewers. So we were determined as the National Governing Body to ensure the Team USA fans wouldn’t miss the action from Namibia and we’re thankful to be able to partner with CricClubs to make it happen. I know the focus of the entire Team USA Squad has been solely on WCL2 since we qualified from WCL3 in Oman. We are all hugely aware of the importance of gaining One Day International Status for the future of cricket in America and I’m delighted that we’ll be able to bring every ball of USA’s campaign to fans across the country. ”

The action gets underway tomorrow at 9.30am local time/12.30am PST with USA’s opening match against Oman.
