Throw back to 1994 as USA take on UAE in Kenya during the ABN-AMRO ICC Trophy. Batting first the USA compiled 206 on the back of 61 from Raymond Denny. Despite being 20-30 short of the score they were aiming for, the USA were well in the game with UAE at 74/2 when rain stopped play.

The rain was heavy enough to send the game to the reserve day the next day.

Upon arrival to the ground the following morning it was very clear that the pitch was being worked on with a heavy roller by the groundstaff, USA protested that the pitch was being rolled contrary to tournament regulations. They went on to lose the game by 4 wickets, with no action regarding the protest forthcoming.
