Publication of 2020 Annual Report

USA Cricket is pleased today to publish its Annual Report for 2020 ahead of its AGM which is scheduled to take place this coming Sunday, May 16th.

Iain Higgins, USA Cricket Chief Executive, explained, “As we look forward to our AGM on Sunday, the Board is pleased to be able to present the 2020 Annual Report.  It was an extraordinarily difficult year for individuals and businesses around the world brought about by the COVID pandemic.  USA Cricket was no different, and in our first full year of partnership with Major League Cricket, both the international and domestic cricketing calendars were decimated and all of our cricketing plans were adversely affected.

However, as the Report identifies, we were still able to make great progress on developing underlying plans and structure that will help to underpin the growth of cricket in the USA in years to come and, together with Major League Cricket, we were able to deliver on certain activities where it was safe to do so.  Most importantly, through the development of our Foundational Plan we have set ourselves a clear vision to make cricket a mainstream sport in the USA and become a Full Member of the ICC by 2030, and identified the strategic focus areas that we will be focusing on to help get there.

The USA Cricket Board of directors invites you to review the 2020 Annual Report on the USA Cricket website by clicking here.
