- Nearly 12,000 individuals now uniquely verified in USA Cricket Membership Program
- Coach, Match Official & Volunteer registration now live and open until March 22nd
- Final chance for Leagues, Clubs or Academies not yet committed, who have until March 12th to be included ahead of upcoming election
USA Cricket is pleased to report there are now nearly 12,000 unique USA Cricket IDs allocated during this initial membership launch over the past few weeks, and to provide the following further updates about the remaining steps in the ongoing registration process across the different categories of membership:
- COACHES, MATCH OFFICIALS AND VOLUNTEERS
With effect from today, registration is now available for all coaches, match officials and volunteers across the country.
Anybody that has not already registered and who is interested in becoming an ‘Official’ member of USA Cricket should go to https://my.usacricket.org/signup, select their primary role and follow the simple registration and payment process, after which a unique USA Cricket ID will be allocated.
In light of the unexpected delay in making this category of membership available, the Nominating & Governance Committee has confirmed that the process of registration as an ‘Official’ member of USA Cricket will remain open to all interested individuals until 11.59pm PST on 22nd March 2021.
- LEAGUE, CLUB AND ACADEMY MEMBERSHIP
Following a previous extension to the registration date, in order to participate in the upcoming election, any remaining Leagues, Clubs or Academies that have not already committed to membership must express their interest in so doing by sending an email to [email protected] by 11.59pm PST on Friday, 12th March. Where such interest is accepted, they will then have a few days to encourage as many of their players to join before the cut-off date described below.
In all cases, however, registration will be available all year round, and there will be plenty of opportunity for the remainder of their members to join in the weeks that follow.
Once the plans for the election have been set, USA Cricket will then return to the overarching objective of working with all of the Leagues, Clubs and Academies across the country to onboard them as members of USA Cricket during 2021.
- FANS/SUPPORTER MEMBERSHIP
As previously announced, since fan/supporter members do not have a right to vote in the upcoming election under the USA Cricket constitution, the opportunity for them to join as individual members will be released within the portal in a few weeks, once the bulk of the election processes are formally concluded.
- PLAYER MEMBERSHIP
As previously announced, although registration will continue for all players throughout the year, the deadline for registration for those wishing to participate in the upcoming election is 11.59pm PST on Monday 15 March.
No new player registrations will be accepted directly into the portal after that deadline and the technology team will start the process of reconciling the data collected at that point. It will also work through all of the issues that have been notified prior to the same deadline through the ‘need help’ functionality within the membership portal or by individuals directly to the [email protected] email address. If any player is experiencing difficulty with their registration, they are therefore encouraged to register the issue in that way and it will be addressed in the coming days.
Once the data reconciliation is complete and support has been provided to all individual queries raised prior to the 15th March deadline, a report will be prepared for the Nominating & Governance Committee (NGC), who will review and announce the next steps in the election process.

- USA CRICKET BOARD ELECTION
In the meantime, the community is also reminded of the ongoing invitations issued by the NGC here to: (a) apply for the position of Individual, Club or Female Player Director; and (b) review for accuracy the provisional list of Female International Players Eligible to Vote.
