The two-week election voting period started today on Friday, July 8, 2022, at 9 AM, US PDT and will conclude on Friday, July 22, 2022, at 9 AM, US PDT.
ElectionBuddy, an election provider the USA Cricket and its independent Nominating and Governance Committee (NGC) has used in prior elections, is conducting the elections.
Due to technical issues that ElectionBuddy has faced today, voters may have inadvertently received ballots for both elections – Individual Director and Club Director. This has now been addressed by ElectionBuddy as follows.
- New ballots have been sent out as intended – club director ballot to club voters and individual director ballot to individual voters and a club + individual director ballot for those eligible to vote for both (as individual member and club member nominee)
- Old ballots will not work anymore.
- Anyone who voted with the old ballot needs to vote again using the new ballot.
We regret that ElectionBuddy had a false start, they have provided their apologies and assurances that all is now in order, and we trust that voting can proceed normally forth with for the two week period.
