GRASS ROOTS CRICKET
CRICKET IS CURRENTLY BEING PLAYED BY OVER 200,000 PLAYERS IN THE UNITED STATES.

These players participate in competitions in the more than 400 local leagues, tournaments, academies, college and school programs across the United States. There are various formats of the game including: hardball, tapeball, softball, disabled and indoor to name a few.

The Central Broward Regional Park Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida is the country’s only ICC certified stadium and has hosted International matches between some of the world’s best teams, along with professional T20 cricket courtesy of the Caribbean Premier League.

There are a number of other turf wickets in use around the country, including: Moosa Stadium in Houston, BPL Cricket Ground in Chicago, Woodley Park in Los Angeles and the Indianapolis World Sports Park.

USA Cricket aims to unite ALL cricket in this country. Whether it be tapeball cricket, indoor cricket, softball cricket, disabled cricket, traditional hardball cricket, mens cricket, womens cricket or childrens cricket – all formats are an important part of the cricket landscape in this country.

We plan to hold Regional and National championships for Men, Women and underage teams for both hardball and tapeball in 2018 – with a strong desire to expand to other formats in the future.
